Hello,
I just bought a Cub Cadet 7274 w/loader from a local dealer in MN. Was wondering if there are maintainance things that I should do before I start working with it? Anythings that I should be looking out for? Anyone experience any quirks with this model?

Thanks

Do a good look over of the tractor. Look for where a wrench imprint is on a bolt or nut head. When you see that it means that someone might have had to do work there. If the clutch housing bolts show to have had wrenches on them than it might have been spit for a clutch. Check the torque on some of the main fame bolts, if some are loose check them all. I would double check the lubes, for color and consistancy. This should be monitered on a regular basis. Thats just some of the stuff to do to become familier with the tractor. The manuals are a good tool for frequencys of maintenience after the initial inspection. ....
